Nope, 'tis the aftermath of being stupid enough to brave the 40 degree heat/sun and go swimming in a friends' pool without enough sun screen on.... (I DID have sunscreen on, just not enough on my shoulders. No other body parts were burnt......did you notice that I have already resumed - that's not the right word, but you know what I mean - my pastiness in colouring, even before I've peeled??)

mmmmmmmmm....flaky, peeling skin soon.....

hmmmmmm.....it's been a while.....!

To begin, here are some silly close-ups of us as Christmas at Mum and Dad's place. The oldies graciously declined to be photographed in this manner, claiming it to be, well, silly....

Baby bro, Stevie - we'll be teaching at the same school this year, can't wait!! (of course I'm going to be telling the kids that HE is 9 years my senior, not the other way 'round....)
